Space Your Place is a workspace optimization consultancy that views the workspace as an evolving ecosystem
What makes our holistic vision unique is offering solutions to all types of human problems and requirements of the future of work through one simple process.
Founder Marisa Toldo recognized that that the space is fragmented. Companies are expected to understand and action inequality considerations through one lens and address sustainability in their workspace through another. That as the pandemic has only magnified, everything matters, and increasingly so.
Save time and money by working with us to develop your workspace optimization programs. We work with organizations within their available resources to design solutions that elevate the business today and promote competitive advantage, retention and attractiveness and much more.
Marisa Toldo, Founder, Architect
Marisa began her career in Venezuela working on architecture projects for hospitals, the seed planted for a career that caters to the human experience of spaces. Through over 20 years of international experience working at architecture firms and for private and corporate clients including IMF, Telefonica, BBVA, Anglo American, and foundations in Germany, one intention has remained central to her process: to make the experience of a space work for the unique requirements of the people occupying it.
Marisa saw the opportunity in creating spaces that put unique traits on a pedestal, because that’s where value and innovation for the organization lie, in supporting the human to be what they are as they would like to be. Thinking holistically, outside of the box and creatively through a fun, engaged and efficient approach refreshes and transforms the workspace, because how we work is as important as the why. Top tier businesses know this already.
What does workspace optimization mean anyway?
Optimizing the workspace is about intentional actions. It could be addressing touchpoints such as air quality with a weekly email snapshot of data on your spaces or it could be about building self-care support systems into your project management software. Other examples could be allocating budget for each employee to take biophilia seriously (make their spaces green) or to fit-out their hybrid workspaces ergonomically. Or, most interesting to us, the integration of intergenerational accommodations into the workspace (e.g. child and elderly care services). Cumulatively, these actions impact the bottom line, so it's all about matching initiatives with the actual values of your employees.
